As of 9th June 2011, eSun Holdings Limited gained a majority shareholding in Media Asia. Also, in August, 2013, the company acquired a majority interest in Inter-Continental Group Holdings Limited. As a result of this, Media Asia has disbanded its distribution wing and all Media Asia titles will be distributed by Inter-Continental Video Limited (IVL).
