BAKUSHI, a term meaning rope master, is a documentary directed by famous Japanese Erotica filmmaker Ryuichi Hiroki, which trys to examine an erotic art form peculiar to Japan ─ Kinbaku ─ Bondage of female bodies. Three of the countrys leading bakushis as well as three models are featured in the film. The Bakushis demonstrate their refine skills and the beauty of binding the models bodies, revealing how a pratice initiated by sexual obsession and fetishism sublime to a splendid art form.
