Synopsis:
First film adaptation of the popular TV drama based on Yokoyama Hideo's story about maverick coroner Kuraishi Yoshio. The realistic autopsy scenes are a definite hook, as is the rich human drama that emerges from the depths of complex cases. Directed by Hashimoto Hajime of The Detective Is in the Bar. A lawyer and a psychologist were killed. The investigation headquarters conclude that it is revenge taken by surviving family members from a killing two years earlier, in which the perpetrator was found not guilty. However, Kuraishi (Uchino Masaaki) was at the crime scene and has doubts about the estimated time of death, and thinks the real killer lies elsewhere.
