Synopsis:
Universal Soldier: The Return continues the saga of Van Damme's Luc Deveraux, the unstoppable soldier who was the last man standing at the end of the original film. The story picks up years later when Luc serves as a technical expert on a special government project preparing a new, stronger breed of soldier that is more sophisticated, intelligent and agile. Unfortunately, the pentagon has decided that raising the dead to fight its wars is too creepy even for the military and pulls the plug on the program. This doesn't sit too well with Self-Evolving Thought Helix, he supercomputer that runs UniSol. The artiflcial megabrain masterminds a revolt and soon the Universal Sodiers have taken over the complex and are eyeing the rest of the planet. Only one man can stop them.
