Yi Chun is an underground avant-garde singer in Taipei. Self-confident and stubborn, she decides to return to Hong Kong to pick up where she had left with her ex-boyfriend Joe. Josie is an aggressive and beautiful woman from the Mainland. Her goal was to go abroad for further studies. In order to earn enough money, she takes up modeling and other jobs during her interim stay in Hong Kong. Joe made promises to both women. How would he know that his promises would lead to a no turning back ending which he would have to pay for unaffordable costs?
The Hole:
Planning to get married in six months time, Yuki is a 26-year-old girl loved by her caring fiance Satoshi. She can hardly remember her past but nightmares with strange images frequently haunt her. One time, Yuki has a nightmare where she sees a dead boy body floating in the river. Gradually, her memories return to her piece by piece. As a 9-year-old, she was beaten by bullies and fell into a dark hole into the sewers by the river. It was then she found a small creature, and she brought it back home and fed it secretly. Then one day, one of the regular bullies made fun of her for her and started to beat her again. It was then the creature furiously attacked the bully. Yuki was petrified and ran from the scene. She reveals everything to Satoshi. Satoshi acts strangely and ask her to go to the sewer once more to check again if the creature is still there...
Lost Memory:
Ball is the 5 year old son of Prang, and is very close to her mother. The family situation takes a downward spiral when Prang thinks that Wit, her husband, is having an affair with a co-worker. In anger, she takes Ball with her and drives away recklessly. An accident in which only Prang survives, while her only son dies on the spot. She never recovers after that tragic night. While in denial of her own son's death, she believes that Ball is still alive and well. Ball's soul is always trying to reunite with the mother it once knew. Everytime she iss close to joining Ball, someone always intervenes to save Prang. Ball's spirit rages...
