Synopsis:
Japan, 18 years ago. A 14-year-old boy knifes his terrified parents to death one night in their bedroom. In the present day, the handsome and genial Hasumi Seiji (Ito Hideaki) is an English teacher at Shinko Academy, a private high school, where he is liked by everyone and is especially adept at solving problems. When it becomes clear that some of the students are cheating by using mobile phones, he proposes that all phones are handed in during exams and a jamming signal is also broadcast. This especially upsets the main culprit, Hayami Keisuke (Sometani Shota), who does it simply for kicks; Keisuke suspects physics teacher Tsurii Masanobu (Fukikoshi Mitsuru) arranged the jamming. Meanwhile, an angry father repeatedly harangues the school over his daughter, Kiyota Rina (Fujii Takemi), being bullied and no one taking any action. In addition, Seiji hears that one of the teachers, Shibahara Tetsuro (Yamada Takayuki), is forcing a student, Katagiri Reika (Nikaido Fumi), to have sex after finding out she committed shoplifting. Seiji gives Reika some private advice to deal with the situation, but later discovers she has a crush on him. The father of Rina then dies in mysterious circumstances which the police find are murder. And Seiji blackmails gay art teacher Kume Takeki (Hira Takehiro), who's having an affaire with pupil Maejima Masahiko (Hayashi Kento), into letting him use his flat to have sex with one of the students, Yasuhara Miya (Mizuno Erina). As Seiji's power over the school increases, the unpopular Masanobu, who has never liked him, starts to investigate his background. But Seiji, who has planted microphones around the school, finds out.
