The romantic drama, “On Your Wedding Day” is charming South Korean film that depicts the ten-year love and friendship between two people from their teenage years to adulthood. Starring Park Bo-Young and rising new actor Kim Young-Kwang, the heart-warming film became a surprise hit in Korea and surpassed 2.6 million admissions to become the most-watched romance film in South Korea in 2018. The film also brought first-time director Lee Seok-Geun, a Best New Director award nomination at this year’s prestigious Grand Bell Awards.

The story follows Woo-Yeon (Kim), a 19-year-old high school student who’s not particularly good at anything and nothing ever seems to go his way. But things change from the moment he meets the new transfer student, Seung-Hee (Park) as he falls head-over-heels in love with her. From that day forward, he only had one goal in life – to become Seung-Hee’s boyfriend! Aspiring to move her with his determination, he studies hard goes to college to be near her, but to her, he is just a good friend. Over the course of 10 years, the both change and grow, but his feelings for her don’t change and timing never seems to be on their side…
